Located in the center of Athens, the Zappeion Exhibition Hall is surrounded by some of the most important buildings in Athens, such as the Parliament building, the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier; the Maximou Palace, which is the official residence of the Prime Minister; the Foreign Ministry, and other public buildings. Nearby are the National Gardens and, opposite, on the side of the Ardittos Hill, the Panathinaic Stadium; Hadrian’s Arch and the ancient Temple of the Olympian Zeus. This is a location most people know and you’ll find it easy to get to.

- By electrically driven bus, buses 1, 5, 12 and 15 stop right next the Zappeion Exhibition Hall

- From the airport you can take bus Χ95, or take the Metro for a 40 minute ride. The stop is called “Syntagma”
- From the railway station, it’s just 30 minutes to the Syntagma Metro station

Unexpected cancellation of the event:

ERA Ltd. reserves itself the right to cancel without notice or compensation the 12th Congress of International Society of Dacryology & Dry Eye in the event of force majeure cases (for example, but not limited to acts of nature such as fire, earthquake, hurricane, flood or terrorist attacks). In such cases, ERA Ltd. is freed of all responsibility.
Limitation of liability of ERA Ltd: In the event of it being impossible for ERA Ltd. to carry out the 12th Congress of International Society of Dacryology & Dry Eye for force majeure cases, so long as this arises from a cause not attributable to ERA Ltd., ERA Ltd. shall only be obliged to reimburse the payments received subject to deduction of any costs it has incurred in preparing the event. This liability only extends to the payments made directly to ERA Ltd. and not to payments made by the attendees to the hotel or airlines.
Smoking is forbidden by law in public transportation and in public buildings. Smoking is not permitted inside the Congress building.
